Our school, nestling in the heart of the Clun Valley, and surrounded by the beautiful South Shropshire countryside, offers a dynamic, challenging and nurturing environment for our children.
We are fortunate enough to be a four class school which enables children to be taught within a two-year age range. Our school currently has approximately 100 children on roll; small enough to ensure each child is valued as an individual, but large enough to have a football team! This year we have opened our purpose-built Foundation Stage unit which offers excellent facilities for three to five year olds.
As an Arts Council Artsmark Gold school, our children have access to a wide range of arts activities throughout the year, reflecting the unique creative culture of the Clun Valley.
St George's School offers extensive and varied after-school provision with well attended clubs such as gardening, dance, animation, textiles, netball and many more. We have an industrious and committed PTA who fund many exciting opportunities for the children.
If you would like to visit the school I would be delighted to show you around.
All stakeholders of the school including governors, staff, parents and pupils have helped in developing our Vision Statement,
